Busy Mama!

Hey, all!

I've been super busy the last couple of weeks.

My son had hockey and scored NINE GOALS in ONE game last weekend, yay! He heads to State next weekend, and I'm taking him while my husband stays home with the girls. Two nights in a hotel with just my oldest? Sign me tf up.

Here's a link to watch his 9 Goal Game video:

I've been working on Prey to the Princess, and it's coming along nicely. I'm hoping to have that out this fall. If you've signed up for my Google Form, you've received the Prologue Teaser... let me know what you think!

Here's the link to that form if you want it:

I worked on some reformatting and bug fixes this week on Not a Victim and Cook Like a Mother. Those should go live in the next couple of days. Fixing the formatting issues on Not a Victim turned it from a 250 page book to a 413 page book, so there's that. No new content was added except front and back matter, but the needed page breaks and font fixes really stretched that novel out!

I also redid the cover for Not a Victim, and that should go live on the print versions this week. I made the cover imagery wrap the entire novel, as well as some font changes. I hope you love it!

Tomorrow is my birthday, I'll be going thrifting and possibly doing some more writing. Unchained is about halfway finished now, so Blurred Lines will get its third installment in March or April.

Other than that, hockey wraps up next weekend for the association, but we start his spring AAA season immediately after. Between that, Spring Break, an on-the-glass Minnesota Wild game (two years in a row now!) and then Summer Skills Camp for Collin, we have a busy season ahead. All in all, though, I wouldn't trade it for the world.

At least I'm getting some sleep now. The girls have moved into their own space!

Wish me all the luck, and be sure to check out the updated versions of the books!

All my love and light,

Melissa Ann Rye
