Hey, all!

ree

My newest book, Cook Like a Mother, will be hitting the shelves online at Amazon on Halloween!

This book was highly requested by some of my personal friends and family.

While I had never planned to write a cook book, and honestly- it was the most boring thing I've ever written in my life (and I make a lot of lists) I am glad that I am able to satisfy that request for my friends and family.

As my author bio states, I am a Sicilian-American. Cooking is in my DNA, and we rarely ever eat out in this house.

During hockey season, we are forced to eat a lot of garbage- let's be real- but most of the time, every single meal (including David's lunch for work) is cooked with love inside the home.

This book includes recipes at every level, from dry mixes to sauces, made-from-scratch doughs and pastas to Ramen noodle hacks.

If you're comfortable in the kitchen or just starting out, there's something to be found in this one.

I will state, the formatting in this book is really lame. I hate how KDP and Kindle Create do formatting, honestly, but it's what works the best for me at this stage in my author life. (I'm a baby author, guys. I haven't even been published a year yet.)

Anyway, long story short- go snag a copy of this poorly-laid out, but full of heart cook book for yourself, for a friend, for a Christmas gift. Get in that kitchen. Create something magical. Share it with your kids.

Being able to feed yourself and your family is a skill that will never die.

Watch out for the next installment of the Blurred Lines Poetry Series to hit by the end of 2025. Only one more installment after that, then I may create an omnibus of the whole series, too. (Why tf not, right?)

I'll also be starting a dark romantasy novel, hopefully out by the end of 2026. Hang tight for that!

Regards and the warmest blessings-

Melissa Ann Rye and Family
